Fractal 2 Audio Sample
"Fractal 2" was a commission from the ABC (through generous auspices of New Music afficionado - John Crawford); and tries to develop "Fractal 1" into a larger piece. Both pieces attempt to musically investigate chaos and Chaos Theory, where topographically, the very small and the very large, are closely related. This recording of "Fractal 2" is truncated. Only 6.5 mins of the second half remains. The first 6.5 mins was recorded over when I conducted an interview for the piece. It has never been recovered. The entire piece was 13 mins long, as was its broadcast length. The interview is available to download.
